A MUM who calls herself “the Devil” bit a cop and tried to gouge his eyes out after she brawled with a pal outside a kebab shop.

Sara Cox “bicycle kicked” two police officers as they tried to arrest her and branded one a “f***ing fat c***”.

The 39-year-old also targeted other cops in her foul-mouthed rant and sank her nails into a female officer’s thigh.

It was the third time Cox had lashed out at police after she previously kicked an officer in the stomach when she got drunk at her sister’s baby shower.

The mum-of-two also spat at a cop after downing booze at the same sister’s wedding.

Despite her previous violent behaviour, Cox avoided jail again and was instead handed a 12-month community order.

She admitted two charges of an assault on an emergency worker using threatening behaviour, criminal damage and obstructing police.

Chester Magistrates’ Court heard the latest attack came on June 24 after Cox had been out boozing with her pal Loretta Hender at the Lock Keeper pub.

A row broke out, with the yob hurling Loretta’s phone into a canal.

When Loretta stormed off to get a kebab from the nearby Grill Maker takeaway, Cox followed and began attacking her.

Loretta told the court: “Sara turned up and I asked her to go away but she said she would not go away. After me telling her and telling the staff to tell her to leave, I pushed her because I felt threatened.

“Then she went for me, fists flying. I was fighting for my own protection. She would not go away and leave me alone.

“As a result of the incident I had bruising to my right eye.”

PC’s Ethan Prosser and Emma Fox arrived and attempted to handcuff Cox but she began lashing out at them.

She gouged at PC Prosser’s eyes and spat at him as he desperately tried to restrain her.

Cox was pulled to the ground but kicked her legs in a “bicycle motion” – hitting both the officers – before biting PC Prosser.

He said: “She was calling me a ‘fat f***ing c*** and saying, ‘I have not done anything wrong’.

“I do not come to work to be assaulted. The incident left me feeling shaken. The behaviour was completely unnecessary. There was no reason for her to act in that way.”

PC Fox said she was kicked in the stomach and legs by Cox, who then dug her nails into her thigh.

She told the court the thug only let go when she struck Cox on the forearm.

Cox, whose Facebook profile shows her sporting Devil horns, first attacked officers in 2018 after a ten-hour drinking binge.

She had to be subdued with pepper spray after she called the officers ”rats’ and began smashing up their patrol car.

Then in 2022, Cox landed a “donkey kick” on an officer’s stomach after she was chucked out of a bar following her sister’s baby shower.

Richard Thomas, defending, said: ”She says she has massive difficulties in respect of partners she has had, regularly being the victim of abuse from them but she was not anticipating that she was going to have to appear before the courts again.

“She has been drinking some alcohol in 2025 but it was under control. Unfortunately, she realised that when she does drink alcohol things like this can happen and she cannot drink alcohol again, certainly not to the extent that she was.

“Through me she wants to apologise to the officers. She regrets the way she behaved towards them and accepted it was completely wrong to subject them to that violence.”

As well as the community order, Cox must complete 20 days of rehabilitation activity, pay £100 to Loretta for the lost phone and £199 in costs and a surcharge.
