A WOMAN who was found dead in a canal has been named and pictured as two people appear in court charged in connection with her murder.
The body of Chereiss Bailey, 36, was tragically discovered in a canal in the Black Country on Tuesday.

Police raced to the scene after receiving reports from residents that there was a body in the water.
Locals said that part of the canal was drained while police worked to recover the remains.
An investigation was launched and forensic officers were seen setting up a large blue tent as they began gathering evidence from the scene.
Two men and one woman were arrested in relation to the incident with cops saying two people have now been charged as part of the investigation.
Chereiss’ heartbroken family have now spoken out for the first time, releasing a touching tribute.
The family said: “Chereiss was a bright, beautiful, loving soul who was much loved and adored by us all.
“Words could never truly describe the anger, pain and heartbreak that we are feeling as a family.
“She will forever remain in our hearts.”
A man and a woman have now appeared in court after being charged in connection with the 36-year-old’s tragic death.
John Anslow, 64, appeared before Worcester Magistrates Court yesterday charged with murder, and preventing the lawful and decent burial of a body.
Hayley-Marie Ferguson, 41, who was also charged with preventing the lawful and decent burial of a dead body and assisting an offender, appeared alongside him.
Both were due to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court for a further hearing today.
Chereiss’ family is being supported by specialist officers as the court proceedings continue.
West Midlands Police’s probe into the tragedy remains ongoing.
After Cheriss’ body was recovered the force said: “Door-to-door enquiries are ongoing along with CCTV being retrieved and reviewed as we work to establish the exact circumstances.
“There will also be a more visible police presence in the area over the coming days as the investigation continues.
“A forensic post mortem is being carried out to help establish the cause of death.”
