THE body of a woman has been discovered at a home just hours after she is believed to have spoken to a cyclist and a jogger.
Police have launched an investigation after the 38-year-old was found dead at a property in Guisborough near Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, at around 8.30am on Monday.
Officers believe she may have stopped to speak to a cyclist and a jogger on Sunday who were in the area of Marton Road close to the Easterside Social Club.
The woman, described as a white female, of slim build, and wearing cream shorts with a cream hooded top and carrying a dark rucksack, was then found dead the following morning, Cleveland Police said.
Police are keen to speak to both the cyclist and the jogger and are appealing to anyone who may have dash cam footage between the hours of 1pm and 5pm on Marton Road, near to the Easterside Social Club.
If you have any footage or information, contact Cleveland Police by calling 101, quoting reference 156692.
