BUILDERS have uncovered “bones” inside the cellar of a property on a quiet residential road.
Police swooped in on the home in Lytham, Lancashire, after the discovery of the remains on Friday afternoon during renovation work.
While investigators set out to determine the origin of the “bones” and whether they are human, renovation work at the site has been suspended.
A Lancashire Police spokesperson said: “We were called to a property on Cleveland Road in Lytham St Annes at 12.37pm on 15th August, after builders completing work on the property found what appear to be bones.
