MARK WILLIAMS left a snooker referee in hysterics after his bizarre attempt to pot a yellow.
The snooker star was struggling for options in his match against Chatchapong Nasa in the Wuhan Open.

Williams, 50, had cruised into a three-frame lead but had left himself snookered while trying to clear up in the fourth.
The Welshman was down to the yellow – but a poor positional shot left the blue call in the way.
Ninety-nine times out of a hundred, you would expect the next shot to be played off a cushion.
But that wasn’t the case for Williams, who tried a bizarre flick, looping the cue ball over the blue and hoping to hit the yellow towards the corner pocket.
Unsurprisingly, it did not go to plan.
Instead, the cue ball flew miles over both the blue and the yellow, bouncing once on the table before catapulting off the table altogether.
It eventually came to rest against the advertising hoardings.
Spectators in the arena were left baffled.
And even the referee struggled to contain his laughter as he had to turn away from the three-time World Champion.
Fans also reacted to the hilarious attempt on social media.
One posted: “Yes, a new way, don’t try this at home.”
A second wrote: “Never change.”
A third added: “Only Willo.”
Another joked: “New season – same old Mark.”
While one quipped: “Did he forget to bring his jump cue?”
The foul shot did not affect the game as Williams cruised into the first round with a 5-0 win.
If Williams goes all the way in Wuhjan, he could pocket a tidy amount in prize money.
The winner will bank £140,000 while the runner-up will still earn £63,000.
