CCTV shows her smiling as she left work early

The retail assistant for Bullards Gin, at Jarrold’s was seen smiling and leaving work at 2.44pm when she was due to finish at 4pm.

Security footage then shows her running through the city centre streets while holding her coat which was later found floating in the river Wensum.

Cops say she then spent 33 minutes on the ground of the nearby cathedral.

Officers are now pleading with the public to come forward with any information in regards to what she was doing during this time.

Norwich Policing Commander, Superintendent Wes Hornigold, said: “We are particularly keen on hearing from anyone who may have seen Gaynor in the cathedral grounds which she enters at 2.50pm and leaves at 3.23pm.

“It’s not clear where she goes inside the cathedral grounds during this time so we’re keen to hear from anyone who may have seen her there.”

Gaynor is then seen to walk along St Crispins Road towards Pitt Street and finally up St Augustines Street at 4.01pm.

This is the last sighting of her on CCTV before going missing.

It comes after her belongings were found scattered in different locations around the city centre park on Friday night.

Her white work shirt, yellow tank top, and jewellery were found spread out – and her olive-coloured coat was found in the water.

It added: “The witness said the woman removed her coat and performed a yoga pose.”
