THERE’S no stopping the darts roadshow as some of the world’s best compete in the New Zealand Masters just days after Luke Littler’s win in Australia.
It was a memorable tournament in Hamilton for Luke Humphries last year.

Cool Hand battled back from 6-2 down to beat arch rival Littler in the semis, before thrashing Damon Heta in the final to clinch his first ever World Series title.
As a result, Humphries banked £20,000 just for winning the showpiece match alone.
But the World No 1 will need to fend off the likes of Littler and Co once again if he is to receive another payday this weekend with several of the top stars featuring.
And the stakes have been raised this time around as organisers have confirmed that the prize money has increased since Humphries won this iconic tournament.

When is the New Zealand Darts Masters 2025?
The New Zealand Darts Masters gets underway on Friday, August 15.
This huge event then concludes the next day – Saturday, August 16.
Auckland’s Spark Arena is the chosen venue for this year’s tournament.
What has been said?
Luke Littler has revealed he feels confident ahead of the New Zealand Darts Masters.
Speaking after his Australian Darts Masters win, the Nuke said: “I want to be winning things. We look to New Zealand next week.
“I will enjoy this. But then it’s an early flight again. An extra two hours ahead – so I will definitely be needing some sleep.
“It’s only my second time coming to New Zealand. I didn’t do much last year.
“We can make the most of four to five days and then once it comes to Friday that is when the darts starts again.
“I’m feeling confident. This is the most confident I have felt in a very long time.
“For myself I know how much I will practise, how much I have been doing.
“But yeah I practised really well for the World Matchplay and won it. I think I will practise for the big ones.
“As a player, you are on stage for a long time. You practise leading up to it and when you are on stage, you gain that confidence.
“You get warmer and you find those four or five gears.”
