MICHAIL ANTONIO has heartbreakingly revealed the passing of his mother in an emotional social media post.
The former West Ham and Jamaica star revealed on Instagram on Sunday that his mother, Cislyn, had died after being bed-bound for several years.

A heartbroken Antonio wrote: “Hello, mum. It’s your baby boy.
“Your time in this world as come to an end. The last five years has (sic) been difficult.
“Seen you sat in that bed not be able to walk, but nothing can prepare you for you leaving me.
“As much as this hurts, you not being here, but the fact you’re no longer in pain and your no longer restricted to a bed. You’re free now.”
The West Ham faithful were quick to send their condolences to Antonio.
One Hammers fan wrote: “Oh, so very sad to read this. He’s had a rough time.”
Another said: “Man has been through a lot! Personally saw a lot of tragedy in the past 2 years! RIP.”
And another said: “Thoughts with him at this difficult moment.”

The last five years have been incredibly difficult for Antonio, who lost his father, who was in and out of the hospital for seven years, in March 2020.
Antonio nearly died in December 2024 in a horrific car crash, which left him with a badly broken leg and required him to stay in the hospital for three days.
The Jamaican returned to action for the first time since his life-threatening crash last month in a Gold Cup match for his country, coming on as a second-half sub against Guatemala.
