In the first inning, a woman walked past the cop and appeared to catch his attention.

He looked at her from behind as she walked past him.

The moment instantly went viral on social media and fans couldn’t help but laugh at the officer.

“He about to risk the pension,” one fan said.

“How blatant could it be… jeez louise!” another fan said.

“Lmaoooo I saw it live & broke out in tears,” a third fan said.

“Double take too? Diabolical,” a fourth fan said.

“Lmaooo bro couldn’t resist,” a fifth fan said.

Alongside the viral moment in New York came a return to form for the Yankees.

Perhaps a funny gimmick was all the team needed to spark some life into them.

After a five-game losing streak, the Yankees have won four of their last six games.

They are also going for a sweep of the Minnesota Twins on Wednesday night.

They won the first two games of the three-game series 15-3.

“Frankly, the offense is the least of our concerns,” Yankees manager Aaron Boone said after Tuesday’s win.
