His future with the north Londoners was thrown into further doubt when it emerged the Gunners were eying Piero Hincapie.

And according to The Athletic, Forest are set to give the former Manchester City defender an escape from his Emirates hell.

They are said to have agreed a loan deal with the Gunners for the 28-year-old.

Forest are said to be working hastily to get the deal over the line before tonight’s 11pm deadline.

The Midlands club have swooped for Zinchenko after their move for Atletico Madrid’s collapsed.

Zinchenko, who SunSport understands was briefly being eyed by Fulham, recently spoke about his struggles at being dropped from the starting XI.
