SEB COE has aligned with US President Donald Trump and vowed to ‘keep men out of women’s sports’ if he becomes IOC boss.

The Brit, 68, is one of seven people vying to become president of the International Olympic Committee when Thomas Bach stands down in March.

One of his main manifesto policies is to “protect and promote the integrity of women’s sport” by “advocating for clear, science-based policies that safeguard the female category”.

On Wednesday, Trump – who will officially open the 2028 LA Olympicssigned an executive order that banned transgender athletes from participating in female sports.

This presidential move is designed to prevent people who were biologically assigned male at birth from competing in certain sporting events, including those at school.

Coe, the boss of World Athletics, said: “Preserving the integrity of competition in the female category is a fundamental principle of the sport of athletics.

“And as we know everything starts in schools.

“Establishing clear, unambiguous policies is a critical first step.”

Trump is set to become the first sitting president to attend the Super Bowl this weekend.

Asked by reporters who he believes will win, the 78-year-old hinted that he thinks the Kansas City Chiefs will take the crown for the third year running.

He answered: “I don’t want to say but there’s a certain quarterback that seems to be a pretty good winner,” likely referring to Patrick Mahomes.

It’s been revealed that Trump will be a guest of honor of New Orleans Saints owner Gayle Benson, whom he’s expected to sit with at the showdown.
