CHEEKY Irish bookmakers Paddy Power have delivered a bespoke trophy cabinet to Tottenham Hotspur – with room for precisely one trophy!
The tongue-in-cheek gesture comes as Spurs look to end their 16-year silverware drought in Wednesday’s Europa League Final against Manchester United in Bilbao.
According to Paddy Power, the cabinet has been “specifically designed with Spurs in mind” and comes with a practical twist – it’s built to future-proof against any further success.
Tottenham’s last piece of silverware came back in 2008, and while fans are dreaming of glory this week, the team heads into the final as slight underdogs following a season to forget.
Ange Postecoglou’s side currently sit 17th in the Premier League, having lost a record 25 games across all competitions and collecting just 38 points.
