THE Players Championship returns to Telford this week with some huge names in action.
Judd Trump will be looking to win the tournament for the first time since 2020 as the World No1 aims to pick up form ahead of the World Championships.

World champion Kyren Wilson is also amongst the top 16 players from the one-year rankings list that are in action at the Players Championship, as is defending champion Mark Allen.
The Northern Irishman won the competition for a second time last year, beating Zhang Anda 10-8 in a frantic final.
This year, players have received a welcome boost as the prize pot has surged by almost 30%!
What is the Players Championship prize money?
A whopping total of £500,000 is up for grabs this week in Telford.
It’s a huge rise from last year’s tournament, which had a pot of £385,000.
