THE Premier League Darts season is heading towards a thrilling climax.

Just one night of the regular campaign remains before four stars contest in the play-offs at the O2 Arena.

Reigning champion Luke Littler has broken even more records this term, becoming the first player to claim five nightly wins in a single season.

The teenage sensation has already confirmed his position at the top of the table, with a night to spare, after he beat second-paced Luke Humphries in a Premier League Darts classic in Aberdeen last week.

Two other stars have also secured their spots in the play-offs, meaning just one place remains, but who can still qualify?

Who has already qualified for Premier League Darts play-offs?

Humphries and Gerwyn Price will join Littler in the Premier League Darts play-offs, meaning three of the four spots have been taken.

Cool Hand sits second on 31 points, and the Iceman is currently third with 24 points.

Neither can drop out of the top four, but there is a scenario that Price could move down to fourth.

Who can still qualify for the Premier League Darts play-offs

Just one spot in the play-offs is still up for grabs as we head into the final night of the regular season.

Only two men are capable of claiming the final place, and they are Nathan Aspinall and seven-time Prem champion Michael van Gerwen.

The Asp is currently occupying fourth with 24 points after he claimed a mammoth nightly win in Aberdeen last week.

And as Night 16’s fixtures are determined by league placing, Aspinall will face Van Gerwen (fifth) in a blockbuster all-or-nothing quarter-final in Sheffield.

All the Asp needs to do is beat MVG to secure his spot in the play-offs.

While, the Green Machine will need to do a lot more, as he sits four points behind Aspinall ahead of Night 16.

Van Gerwen will need to first beat the Mancunian in the quarter-finals, then go on to claim his first nightly win of the season in order to progress to the play-offs.

Chris Dobey, Rob Cross and Stephen Bunting are all unable to qualify for the play-offs.
