Brentford’s visit to Forest was originally pencilled in for Saturday August 16, but will now take place a day later.

That is because cricket event The Hundred will take place at Trent Bridge on Saturday, which is located a stone’s throw from the City Ground.

The decision has been made to move the match to avoid massive crowds descending on the city centre.

That means there will now be three matches played on Sunday August 17.

They also include Chelsea vs Crystal Palace and Manchester United vs Arsenal.

Forest vs Brentford was set to kick off at 3pm on the Saturday, and its new time – Sunday 2pm – will see the clash broadcast by Sky Sports.

Alll three Sunday matches will be available for fans to watch on the broadcaster.

The new Prem season kicks off with champions Liverpool hosting Bournemouth.

It is one of seven matches that will be shown on TV, with Aston Villa vs Newcastle to follow at Saturday lunchtime.

The other TV games include Saturday evening’s clash between Wolves and Man City, and Leeds vs Everton.
