PUNTERS were rocked by ‘the wildest thing I have ever seen’ in this truly bizarre horse race.
Morning Addiction shot to the front in a race at Golden Gates in the US on Saturday evening.

Travelling well and seemingly loving being out in front alone under jockey Assael Espinoza, the duo looked like they were going to cruise to victory.
But things took a turn for the seriously bizarre when three-year-old Morning Addiction inexplicably slowed down and almost came to a stop.
All the other horses bolted past… until Morning Addiction started picking up again.
The Bill McLean-trained runner then remembered what it was supposed to be doing and sluiced through the field.
Inside the final furlong Morning Addiction motored home and snuck a victory at the post in a photo-finish.
It was a truly remarkable victory – one that went from looking nailed on, to no chance, to pinched at the death.

There was plenty of praise for commentator Matt Dinerman who did a good job calling the freakish result.
But punters were mostly at a loss to explain what they had just seen.
One said: “If you bet on this horse you probably lost three years off your life.”
Another commented: “Wow that was one of the craziest things I’ve seen in a race.”
One post in reply to the video read: “Absolutely unreal – what a race!”
Another person wrote: “I have never ever seen a horse do that.”
And one comment read: “Just when you think you have seen everything. How does this horse win? Even splits horses inside late for the win. Crazy.”
