The Northern Irishman is hoping to win the Masters for the first time in 11 years.

And he is sure to be in an inspired mood with daughter Poppy and wife Erica by his side.

Indeed, McIlroy’s kid showed her dad how it’s done.

The youngster enjoyed playing on hole No.9 and pulled off a brilliant shot that ended up going straight in.

World No2 McIlroy was delighted as he celebrated the terrific putt alongside pal Shane Lowry.

And he will now be hoping to draw upon Poppy’s skills to guide himself to victory this weekend.

Meanwhile, McIlroy’s wife Erica played caddie during Wednesday’s traditional Par-3 competition.

The pair have been married since 2017 but looked set for a bombshell divorce last year.

They ended up calling off the split just weeks later.

And the pair put on a loved-up display yesterday, having also celebrated together when McIlroy won last month’s Players Championship.

Reflecting on his chances this weekend, the ace said: “I feel like I’m better equipped than I ever have been to challenge this golf course.

“I’ve made a real conscious effort this year to really be diligent with my course management and sort of how I’m strategically trying to plot my way around the golf course.

“I’ve putted well this year, my around-the-green game has been really good.

“Every aspect of my game has been really, really solid,

“So I think putting all those things together this week is obviously the formula to getting the job done.”
