POLICE are dealing with an ongoing incident at a major UK hospital – ordering the public to stay away.
Avon and Somerset Police said officers are “in the vicinity” of the Royal United Hospital in Bath.

A police helicopter has also been spotted circling the hospital, in the west of the city.
The nature of the incident remains unclear but there are no reported injuries, police said.
One witness told SomersetLive that nobody is being allowed in or out of the hospital.
A police spokesperson said: “We are currently responding to an incident in the vicinity of the Royal United Hospital in Bath.
“Officers are at the scene but at this moment in time would advise people to avoid the area as a precaution.
“We will provide further updates in due course.
They added later: “We’d like to reassure the public that all emergency services have well-rehearsed plans for dealing with incidents.
“There are no reported injuries and our advice to avoid the area at the moment is precautionary.”
