DRIVERS face rush hour chaos after a five-car pile up on the busy M60 caused seven miles of queues – with “severe” delays.
One clockwise lane of the motorway has been closed at junction 1 near Stockport, Greater Manchester.

Motorists have been warned to expect delays of around 45 minutes and seven miles of congestion back to Junction 23 in Audenshaw.
Traffic cops have scrambled to the scene and vehicle recovery is en route.
National Highways said: “M60 clockwise within J1 near Stockport – the outside lane of three lanes is closed due to a five-vehicle collision.
“North West Motorway Police are at the scene. Delays of almost 45 minutes, seven miles of congestion back to J23 Audenshaw.
“Vehicle recovery is en route.”
