LEICESTER boss Ruud van Nistelrooy says he will use his ‘network’ to bring in January signings – and that could include Manchester United.
The Foxes boss knows the areas he needs to strengthen this month as he bids to keep Leicester in the Premier League.

Van Nistelrooy is set to make improvements at the back – and he needs a new wide man with Abdul Fatawu injured for the season.
If he goes back to Old Trafford for players, then he may target centre-back Victor Lindelof who has yet to start a Premier League game for United this season.
And SunSport has already exclusively revealed the Dutchman is also keen on Red Devils midfielder Toby Collyer, with a loan bid possible.
Former United striker Van Nistelrooy stressed he intends to use his contacts across Europe to bring in the right players.
Asked if he would use his contacts at United, he said: “I’m looking at my network, having played in a couple of countries.
“It’s important to use that to strengthen the squad and help the team reach its target.
“But it’s good to look at where the injuries are and make your own conclusions.
“We’ll make decisions on where we want to do it. We need the signings to strengthen. I want to share the different views of how we approach this.”

He could make a loan move for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who left Leicester last summer to join ex-Foxes boss Enzo Maresca at Chelsea.
Dewsbury-Hall has not started a top-flight game for Maresca but has been used in Chelsea’s Europa Conference League campaign.
However, much depends on whether Odsonne Edouard returns to Crystal Palace or stays as Leicester’s second loan player.
Van Nistelrooy says that – for now – Edouard is the club’s second loan player with Brighton’s Facundo Buonanotte, despite not playing for Leicester in almost two months.
But fitting Dewsbury-Hall into Leicester’s current midfield could also be difficult.
Van Nistelrooy says he expects the Foxes’ survival battle to go to the wire.
He added: “I had a very clear view, before I joined, that it would go right to the end of the season.
“I’m prepared with the team, game by game, that by the end of the season we are where we want to be.
“In that sense, I’m not focused on where we are now. I’m focused on us getting better and where we can strengthen.
“We’re looking at possibilities – we have to do it. But this squad has qualities if we have everyone is on board. It’s on us to prove that.”
