OFFICIALS working for Sadiq Khan are promoting Black Lives Matter in their emails, the Sun on Sunday can reveal.
The Mayor of London has been accused of pushing “ideology over delivery” with politically restricted staff bearing the slogan in emails.
Wording below their email signature says: “The GLA stands against racism. Black Lives Matter.”

Tory Mayoral candidate Susan Hall: “City Hall staff should never be politicised by the Mayor’s office. I will ensure that political neutrality rules are respected under my Mayoralty.”
Tory MP Ben Bradley said that when he became the Leader of Nottinghamshire County Council, he asked staff to remove flags, campaigns and pronouns from their email signatures.
But he added: “That’s what you get with Labour leadership. Ideology over delivery. Divisive campaigns and identity politics prioritised above delivering services. Every time.”
A source close to Mr Khan said: “At City Hall we believe that the lives of black Londoners matter. It’s frankly shocking that Susan Hall seems to think otherwise.”
A spokesperson for the Mayor said: “The Mayor has declared City Hall a committedly anti-racist organisation. The email signature does not endorse any specific organisation but makes clear that the GLA stands against racism.”
