A TEENAGE boy and girl have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man in his 60s was stabbed.
The victim was rushed to hospital after suffering “multiple” knife wounds in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, in the early hours of Sunday.

A 14-year-old boy and 15-year-old girl have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, police confirmed today.
A 56-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman are also being held on suspicion of wounding with intent.
All four have been released on conditional police bail as an investigation continues.
A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: “Four people have been arrested as we continue to investigate a stabbing in Stoke-on-Trent.
“We were called to Kildare Street, Longton, at around 1.25am on Sunday.
“The victim, a man in his 60s, was stabbed multiple times. He was treated by paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service and taken to hospital where he remains.
“A 56-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman, from Stoke-on-Trent, were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.
“A boy, 14, and a girl, 15, from Stoke-on-Trent, were also arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.”
A statement added: “Officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened or those with any CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage from the area at the time.”
