The video has been seen hundreds of thousands of times online and is said to have been taken on Boxing Day.

Most are covering their faces and several can be seen wearing balaclavas.

Following a tussle near the start, they then proceed to grab the food hall’s seating and throw the chairs at each other.

Two security guards in red hi-vis can be seen standing watching the fight unfold next to a group of girls watching the violence.

Girls can be heard screaming as the chairs fly across the mall and the hooded youths staunch walk around the scene.

Security guards can then be seen at the scene pushing the gangs away from each other and picking up chairs.

Girls can also be seen pushing and dragging the boys away from each other.

It takes a few seconds before the two groups disengage from each other leaving the busy hall with chairs strewn across the place.

Commenters on social media roasted the two groups for their actions.

“I’ve seen scarier scenes on Mr Tumble,” said one.

“Indoor winter training, in preparation for the 2024 euros in Germany,” said another.

“When musical chairs defeat is just too much to take,” said a third.

Manchester Arndale and Greater Manchester Police have been approached for comment.

The food hall is known for violence with a YouTuber being attacked there in November and a stabbing there in 2022.
