THIS is the shocking moment a reckless dad let his 7-year-old son drive his car despite his feet barely reaching the pedals.

The dad, 27, filmed as his son took the wheel and can even be heard telling him to “step on it”.

The footage shows the young boy driving the car down the street at night as music blares from the radio.

He is not wearing a seat belt and is barely tall enough to see over the steering wheel.

As the boy stretches his neck out to try and see where he is going, his dad says (in Spanish): “Step on the gas a bit more, let’s see how it goes.”

The dad proudly shared the footage online and reportedly captioned it: “Relax, my little heir has got the skills.”

A criminal investigation has been opened against the dad for reckless driving, according to local media reports.

He has also had his driver’s license revoked by The National Road Safety Agency (ANSV).

The ANSV, which is part of the Ministry of Transport, filed a complaint with prosecutors.

The Ministry of Transport said in a statement: “The Ministry of Transportation does not tolerate this type of reckless behaviour and acts accordingly to ensure compliance with the rules and that those who violate them assume the consequences.”

The incident took place in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

A 10-year-old boy was arrested after allegedly driving through a crowded playground in Minneapolis in September.

The boy drove past the playground three times, almost hitting innocent children.

At one point, a small girl walking towards the playground at Nellie Stone Johnson School stopped in her tracks as the car narrowly missed her and the play equipment.
