AN Amazon driver saw his life flash before his eyes as a speeding train split his delivery truck in half and missed him by just a few inches.

Alexander Evans was the driver and the mind-blowing crash was caught on the dash cam as he was passing by a railroad track in Ixonia, Wisconsin, about 42 miles west of Milwaukee, in November 2021.

The dashcam video was obtained by TMZ on Wednesday.

Evans explained he is deaf in his left ear and did not hear the train’s warning horn when it was approaching close to the truck, he told ABC affiliate WISN in Milwaukee in 2021.

The road parallels the train track before it reaches the crossing and Evans said his view of the tracks was limited.

It was an Amtrak train that sped past Evan’s Amazon truck and completely wrecked it.

The shocking video shows the exact moment that the train smashed into the car and all of the airbags went off.

After Evans noticed what happened he is seen in a state of shock and scurried to get his phone and to reach out for help.

“Yeah, it just, boom,” Evans told WISN.

“Literally, it was like one long beep, horn from the train, and I put my foot on the gas, kind of like trying.

“I don’t know how far I’m going to get away from him.”

But Evans was able to move just far enough at the perfect time to avoid the train hitting his body inside the truck.

“I still can’t believe it myself, as well,” Evans said.

The life-defying crash left Evan’s body feeling sore but he had no reported injuries.

Evans is the father of two little girls and the crash also occurred on his 30th birthday, he told the outlet.

He said there are no signals, lights, or warning sounds for when a train is passing by at the crossing.

After his incident, he called for the crossing to add more precautionary measures in place.
