THOUSANDS of people are expected to attend a pro-Palestine protest in London – in the wake of the horror attack at a Manchester synagogue.
Set to take place in Trafalgar Square on Saturday, it aims to be “the biggest ever mass action yet defying the ban on Palestine Action”, organisers Defender Our Juries previously said.

However, in the wake of the terror incident on Thursday, in which two people were killed during a car and knife rampage outside Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue calls have been made for the demo to be banned.
Unmarried recluse Jihad Al-Shamie was gunned down by cops at the scene yesterday morning – with three people still fighting for their lives in hospital and another injured.
Last night, pro-Palestine protesters were slammed as dozens were arrested amid violent clashes during a gathering in the capital.
The protesters had been demonstrating against Greta Thunberg‘s Gaza flotilla detention.
Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood today described those who attended the protest as “fundamentally un-British”.
Speaking to Times Radio, she added: “I think it’s disgraceful and I would call on everybody who is considering protest in the next day or two to take a step back and to show some humanity and some love towards a community that is grieving.
“I think that is the right thing to do. People can get on with their protest.
“Those issues unfortunately are not likely to come to an end in the next day or two.”
Further protests are expected to take place tonight and across the weekend, led by the Defend Our Juries group.
