A QUADRUPLE murderer has been charged after he allegedly attacked an inmate with a claw hammer in a prison workshop.
Damien Bendall bludgeoned Lacey, 11, her brother John, 13, their pregnant mum Terri Harris, 35, and pal Connie Gent, 11, to death at a sleepover.

The killer also raped little Lacey at the family home in Killamarsh, Derbyshire, as she lay dying.
He was handed a rare whole life order, which means he will die behind bars, in December 2022.
Bendall has now been charged with attempted murder after allegedly attacking a lag at Frankland Prison in Durham.
The Sun told how the killer allegedly smashed the inmate’s skull in a jail workshop in May last year.
Sources said the victim, who was left fighting for life, was bludgeoned three or four times with a claw hammer.
Bendall, 35, will appear at Teesside Crown Court on May 21.
Durham Constabulary said: “The victim sustained serious head injuries and was taken to hospital but is now recovering.”
He pleaded guilty to four counts of murder and one count of rape following the horror attack in September 2021.
Paying tribute previously, Lacey and John’s devastated dad Jason Bennett said: “It’s like my life has been shattered into a billion pieces, never to be repaired.
“I no longer have a future. Life is empty. All I have is sadness. The love I crave is from my beautiful kids.
“I can’t have that. It’s a hole that can never be filled.
“I would do anything just to speak to them and say goodnight to my beautifuls.”
