Snooker fans say ‘this feels like something you’re not meant to see’ as Viaplay show pundits in studio during break

SNOOKER fans were left stunned after pundits were shown during a broadcasting break.

Viaplay were showing coverage of the Champion of Champions.

But during a break in play pundits Alan McManus, Stephen Hendry and Jill Douglas were shown on live TV.

Fans were left baffled by the coverage.

In response, one fan said: “Sort of feels like you’re watching something that’s not supposed to be seen.”

A second said: “I wonder if the guys in the studio know that Viaplay shows what they’re doing during commercial breaks. Nothing interesting usually.”

A third said: “Would be funny if they started swearing or something.”

Another said: “Probably the reason they don’t say much.

“They’ve got material for the match, you start talking about how you’re days been etc etc then people could misconstrue something that’s said. On TV sometimes best to keep it shut.”

Hendry had fans furious earlier this week as they told him to do his “homework”.

The tournament itself has seen Judd Trump make the final on Sunday after beating Barry Hawkins 6-3.

One of Mark Allen or John Higgins will be his opponent in the final.

The second semi-final gets underway tonight from 6:45pm.
