A SON stabbed his mum to death then told police “it’s definitely a body bag job” in a chilling 999 call.
Rick Parker attacked Helen Harrison, 59, just 20 minutes after she called paramedics begging for a mental health assessment.

The 40-year-old, who had mental health issues after a road accident, had been “whispering to himself” and “didn’t seem to be in touch with reality”.
When medics arrived, Parker told them he didn’t need help and they left the home in Market Weighton, East Yorkshire.
Parker was deemed unfit to stand trial but a jury found he was responsible for the killing on the caveat that he was labouring under a mental disability at the time.
Hull Crown Court heard Parker had moved back into the family home in 2021 after he suffered spinal injuries in a crash while on his bike.
His mental health had spiralled as a result and he was seen “pacing up and down, talking to himself and laughing”.
Just two weeks before the killing, Parker battered Helen’s husband Roy – leading him to move out.
On March 5 last year, the mum told her husband she was going to see if she could persuade Parker to seek help.
She called an ambulance and two paramedics arrived at around 4pm to speak to the family.
But when they asked Parker if they could have a private chat with his mum, she appeared and seemed “slightly agitated”.
One medic said Parker appeared to have “full [mental] capacity” and they “couldn’t force him to do anything he didn’t want to do without consent”.
Just 20 minutes after they left, horrified neighbours heard “loud screams” and banging at the front door.
Parker plunged a 20-inch knife into Helen’s chest then strangled her during the violent attack.
He then made a 999 call to tell them someone was “badly injured” and “clearly dead”.
Parker said it wasn’t a “desperate hurry” but “I suppose someone will have to come down”.
When the operator asked Parker to try chest compressions, he said “it wouldn’t help”, adding: “It’s definitely a body-bag job”.
Helen was discovered in the hallway with a serrated knife protruding from her right shoulder.
Tables and chairs in the kitchen had also been knocked over during a struggle and Parker had cleaned his bloody hands in the sink.
The court was told he has never been able to give an account of what unfolded and only said there was a “household accident”.
Parker will be sentenced at a later date.
