SOUTH Park didn’t air on Wednesday night – just a week after an episode mocking the death of Charlie Kirk was pulled.

The cartoon’s creators were forced to admit to fans that the episode wasn’t “ready.”

“This one is on us,” creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone said.

“We didn’t get it done in time.

“Thanks to Comedy Central and ‘South Park’ fans for being so understanding. Tune in next week!”

The episode will now air on September 24.

New episodes of the cartoon will air on Comedy Central between October 15 and December 10.

Episodes will air on October 15, 29, November 12, 26, and December 10.

The sitcom is in its 27th season, having first appeared on TV screens in August 1997.

Comedy Central chiefs removed the “Got a Nut” episode from TV schedules in light of Kirk’s assassination.

But, it can still be streamed on Paramount+.
