ONE of the murderers of Stephen Lawrence is to face a rare three-day public parole hearing.
David Norris — jailed for life in 2012 — will be interrogated by a panel briefed by some of the UK’s leading psychiatrists and jail experts.

A source explained: “No detail is too small to be left out of the report. This is why the case is being given three days.”
The first two days on October 7 and 8 will be in public, with a third day on October 10.
Norris is due to give evidence via video from Exeter prison, where he is currently held.
Stephen’s father Neville Lawrence and mother Baroness Doreen Lawrence are expected to watch his evidence.
Stephen, 18, was murdered by a racist gang at a bus stop in Eltham, South East London, in 1993, but only Norris, 48, and Gary Dobson, 49, faced justice.
Both were jailed for life.
Prior to the hearing, it was reported Norris finally admits being at the scene of the attack.
But, he denies stabbing Stephen or being racist.
A Parole Board spokesman said: “Parole reviews are undertaken thoroughly and with extreme care.
“Protecting the public is our number one priority.”
