The Asp came back from 5-2 down to beat the former world champion 6-5.

However, this stunning encounter was marred by a few misbehaving patrons.

Aspinall was absolutely infuriated with a selection of supporters after the match.

So much so that the Stockport star made a whistling gesture before moving his hand across his throat to signal that it needed to stop.

And the popular thrower didn’t hold back during his post-match interview as he put the guilty parties on full blast stating that all the heckling was preventing good darts.

Aspinall said: “All I want to say is the whistling affects us players.

“Chant or cheer, do what you want, but stop whistling regardless of whoever is playing, whether you like them or not.

“You pay your money to watch good darts and you’re preventing that from happening.

“It annoys us as players. The five or six people in the crowd — you know who you are — just stop being idiots.

“Then everyone will have a laugh and have a beer to just enjoy some good darts.”

This is not the first time whistling fans caused mayhem as that phenomenon was often noticeable during the Premier League Darts.
