STORM Debi has triggered danger to life warnings – with 80mph winds and flooding expected to spark severe disruption.
The northwest of England and southeast Northern Ireland have both been covered by amber warnings.

This is in place from 10am until 4pm and stretches from Whitehaven, in Cumbria, down to Liverpool and across to Burnley, taking in Lancaster.
While Northern Ireland’s amber warning is in place from 6am until 12pm today.
In both cases, the Met Office say flying debris is “likely and could lead to injuries or danger to life”.
They warned that within these areas the strongest winds are expected to reach 75mph or even 80mph in exposed coastal areas.
Inland areas are expected to see gusts of 60-65mph.
There may also be damage to buildings including tiles blown off roods and there is a “good chance” of power cuts with the potential to affect other services.

Both amber warnings embedded within broader yellow ones already in place.
Wind and rain warnings are in force across the whole of Northern Ireland.
Fast flowing or deep floodwater is possible, causing a danger to life and may even cut off some communities, the Met Office say.
There could also be delays or cancellations to air, rail, road and bus services.
While northern England and parts of Wales have yellow wind warnings.
There is also a yellow warning for wind in Eastern Scotland.
There was a red weather warning in place across Ireland for east Galway and Roscommon, which ended at 7am this morning.
Matthew Lehnert, Chief Meteorologist at the Met Office, said: “Storm Debi has developed rapidly overnight and will bring impacts across parts of the UK today.
“Because of the particular risk of impacts to parts of County Armagh and County Down this morning and parts of northwest England through much of the day we have issued two amber wind warnings.”
Storm Debi will move into the North Sea during Monday evening.
