COPS have released a CCTV image of a man after a teenage girl was reportedly sexually assaulted on a bus.
Officers were called to reports of the horrific incident at around midday on June 4.
The alleged attacker, who is thought to have been on Bristol’s First Bus 24 with the victim, was not at the scene when cops arrived.
Officers spoke to the victim who is now being supported by specialist staff.
Avon and Somerset Police have since launched an urgent investigation into the assault and are appealing for the public’s help to identify the man in the picture.
He is described as being of mixed heritage, about 5ft 10ins tall, aged in his 20s or 30s with short wavy black hair, short black facial hair.
A spokesperson for the force said: “If you know who this man is, or witnessed the incident and have not yet spoken to an officer, we’d like to hear from you.”
