TENNIS star Danielle Collins was involved in a frosty handshake exchange with rival Iga Swiatek before doubling down on social media.

The American ace, 31, came up against her Polish rival, 23, at the 2025 United Cup final.

Contingents from both parties greeted each other before the first match of the tournament.

And it saw Collins and world No2 Swiatek meet again following their fiery tennis battle at the Paris Olympics.

Collins, ranked 11th in the world, retired from their quarter-final clash with injury before giving Swiatek an earful at the net.

She later claimed the Pole was “insincere” and accused her of “fakeness.”

And it appears Collins is yet to move on after being reunited with Swiatek this week.

As the American and Polish delegations greeted each other, the two went to shake hands.

But Collins barely looked at Swiatek as she offered a feeble exchange.

And later the USA star doubled down on the effective snub on social media.

Posting a picture of the incident, Collins said: “Didn’t know if you guys noticed this but… New year, same me.”

Another post read: “Sometimes I just gotta laugh at myself.”

Collins’ latest message about Swiatek came on the back of her rant at the Olympics.

Collins said at the time: “I told Iga she didn’t have to be insincere about my injury.

“There’s a lot that happens on camera and there are a lot of people with a ton of charisma and come out and are one way on camera and another way in the locker room.

“And I just haven’t had the best experience, and I don’t really feel like anybody needs to be insincere.

“They can be the way that they are. I can accept that, and I don’t need fakeness.”
