THIS racing punter landed ‘the kind of bet everyone dreams of’ – winning huge from a small stake.
The William Hill customer picked out a fantastic four-fold from the action at Leicester and Chepstow on Thursday evening.
All in all it meant their £10 each-way acca stung the bookies to the tune of more than £15,000 in a little under two hours.
And what’s best of all is that the firm’s best odds guaranteed promise meant they netted an additional £3,500.
Honrado got the bet off and running with his head-length victory at 11-2 in a Class 6 1m4 handicap at Leicester.
Then 33 minutes later it was the turn of 8-1 Due Date to win a 6f sprint at the same track with ease.
Sticking to the same track, Cape Flora won the next for trainers John & Thady Gosden at 4-1 to leave the punt hanging on the 4.50 at Chepstow.
Spirit Of The Bay hadn’t won since May 2023 but he was a 3-1 chance for the 1m2f Class 6 handicap.
And, under Arc de Triomphe-winning jockey Luke Morris, he kept on well to scoop the pot.
The £10 each-way four-fold paid £15,413 in all.
