THE famous Manchester rain could be an aphrodisiac — as it is the UK’s top city for outdoor romps.
One in eight locals — around 12 per cent — claim they have enjoyed alfresco “Mancy panky”.

They were closely followed by Glaswegians, joint runners-up with folk from Norwich on 11 per cent.
A poll of 2,000 adults found many cannot help getting all steamed up in the fresh air, including Craig Denman, 31, of Manchester.
He said: “Both me and my girlfriend often go hiking in the Pennines. We usually take a picnic and end up taking a break after a few hours walking — and on the odd occasion we do end up getting a bit too frisky for our own good.
“One time we thought we were all alone in the middle of nowhere and this whole troop of climbers walked past us — and we were completely naked!”
A spokesman for card company thortful.com, which conducted the survey, said it shines a light on the “alfresco hotspots of the UK”.
London came sixth on eight per cent, behind Newcastle and Edinburgh.
But in another recent poll, a whopping 28 per cent of dwellers in the capital said they romped in public, which includes indoor spaces.
Manchester came in fifth with 12 per cent.
