A DARTS legend has scoffed at claims Luke Littler is as good as Phil Taylor in his prime.
Adrian Lewis believes anyone hailing the Nuke as the best ever could not have seen the Power on his way to 16 world titles.
There’s one big reason why Luke Littler isn’t up to Phil Taylor in his pomp, according to fellow darts hero Adrian LewisTarget Darts

Two-time Ally Pally king Lewis, 40, expects to return to the oche this year via the MODUS Super Series.
The Stoke star, aka Jackpot, stepped away from the game in April 2023 while caring for his ill wife.
Now Lewis is itching for a comeback – and has warmed up by taking aim at anyone placing Littler above Taylor.
The Warrington whizkid, 18, capped his record-shattering emergence in the game with a first world crown in January.
But Lewis explained what he reckons is the main reason the Nuke fails to surpass the original Power, who is now 64.
The 40-year-old told Online Darts: “It’s a leg on leg pressure what Phil Taylor used to do to you.
“Looking at Luke at the World Championship for instance, his high would be obviously above Phil’s.
“But his mediocre wasn’t as good as Phil’s B game, kind of thing.

“So that’s when Phil would pounce on you.”
Explaining if that meant peak-time Taylor was superior, Lewis added: “Definitely.
“I don’t know who is saying these comments but they mustn’t know that much about darts if they haven’t seen Phil at his best.
“We’ve all witnessed this and have been in front of it many times.”
