A GANG have been found guilty of killing a radio DJ who was tortured to death as his kidnapped girlfriend heard his dying screams.
Koray Alpergin, 43, was bundled into a van along with partner Gozde Dalbudak, 34, who was staying at his North London home.

He was then beaten with a baseball bat, had boiling water poured on him and the soles of his feet were repeatedly stabbed.
Koray, the owner of London station Bizim FM, was also sexually tortured during the gruesome attack.
His naked, burned body was then dumped in woodland in Loughton, Essex, where he was found by a dog walker.
Sickeningly, girlfriend Gozde had heard his dying screams while she was locked in a toilet in a kebab restaurant near Tottenham Hotspur‘s stadium for two days.
She managed to escape to a nearby restaurant where the owner, who had met her previously, didn’t recognise her due to the extent of her injuries.
Tejean Kennedy, 33, and Ali Kavak, 26, have been found guilty of the kidnap and false imprisonment of the couple and Koray’s manslaughter.
Samuel Owusu-Opoku, 35, was found guilty of two counts of kidnap.
Steffan Gordon, 34, admitted kidnap and was found guilty of two counts of false imprisonment.
Kavak was also convicted of perverting the course of justice by helping to dispose ofKoray’s body and destroying two vehicles by fire, while Owusu-Opoku admitted the charge.
The horror unfolded in October last year as Koray and Gozde made their way home from a meal out in Mayfair.
His killers had been lying in wait for the couple to return after installing a tracking device on his Audi.
Gozde, who had been visiting her boyfriend from Turkey, was then “frogmarched” into a waiting white van, while Koray was bundled into a second van.
The masked thugs took the couple to an empty wine bar that backed on to White Hart Lane where Koray told his girlfriend: “My love, don’t be scared”.
She was punched twice in the face and feared she would die before being taken to a dark toilet where she was blindfolded and tied up.
Koray meanwhile was subjected to a campaign of torture as the gang took turns to maim him.
Prosecutor Crispin Aylett KC said: “It is obvious that before his death Koray Alpergin had been stripped naked and horrifically tortured.
“From the number and nature of the injuries sustained, the prosecution suggest that it is not hard to envisage a group of sadistic thugs taking it in turns to inflict injury, whether with punches and kicks, hitting him with a bat, scalding him with boiling water, stabbing his feet.”
Gozde was eventually released after two days where a restaurant owner pal at first thought she was a “homeless person begging for food” when she ran in for help.
She had bruising to her eyes, a broken and bleeding nose and was wearing an oversized jacket given to her by the men, who had given her chicken and Coca-Cola during her captivity ordeal.
Koray, a well-known and popular figure in the British Turkish community, was discovered dead near the Oakwood Hill Industrial Estate on October 15.
A post mortem found he had suffered 94 separate injuries to his mutilated body, including 14 fractured ribs and brain damage.
The court was told Koray had seemed anxious and on edge in the weeks leading up to his death.
He was said to have been heavily in debt with a host of claims against him – including £32,405 for his Audi.
Koray had also told pals he “said the wrong thing to the wrong people” when he returned home from a summer trip to Turkey.
Mr Aylett said the killing had “all the hallmarks of being linked to serious, organised crime – almost certainly drugs”.
He added: “The prosecution allege that Koray Alpergin was kidnapped and tortured either so that he might be punished for something that he had done or else forced to give up something that he knew – perhaps the whereabouts of either drugs or money – and which his kidnappers also wanted to know.”
Following his death, tributes flooded in for Koray, who had rubbed shoulders with celebs including Salt Bae and P Diddy.
His dad Tuncay Alpergin said his son’s place in life will not be filled in a heartbreaking post.
While friend Bay Hic, who had appealed for help in finding Koray after he vanished, said: “The description of the death of my friend and colleague, dear Koray, whom the society in London knows very well, is an impossible pain and sadness…
“I wish condolences and patience to all those who love him, especially his family. May Allah have mercy upon them. Amen”.
Gordon, of Northolt, Kennedy, of Cricklewood Broadway, Owusu-Opoku, of Wood Green, and Kavak, from Tottenham were remanded into custody to be sentenced on December 12.
