Offenders must be “in no doubt” that the Government will act to revoke visas of those who spread hate crime.
The intervention comes after ex-Chancellor Sajid Javid demands tough action for glorifying terrorism in an article for The Sun today.
Mr Jenrick, writing last night to chief constables, said: “Those that abuse that privilege by causing harm to the U.K., our citizens and values forfeit the benefits conferred to them.
“In these instances the Home Office will not hesitate to enforce the law and revoke the visas of such individuals.”
“The guarantee that individuals are able to exercise their rights to freedom of expression must be coupled with the certainty that there will be zero-tolerance for antisemitism and the glorification of proscribed terrorist groups.”
British Jews have seen a shocking 541 per cent spike in racist attacks since October 7 when the devastating terrorist attack in Israel took place.
Pro-Palestine protesters have even smeared red paint across Jewish schools. A sticker plastered to a synagogue read: “I stand with genocide.”
Mr Javid, whose parents immigrated to Britain from Pakistan, wants Home Secretary Suella Braverman to step in and immediately deport them.
Writing in The Sun, he said: “I know Sun readers will agree that individuals who commit these vile offences must face the full force of the law.
