A TOP Tory boss has predicted an early election as Rishi Sunak tore into Sir Keir Starmer.
Sir Graham Brady, chief of the powerful 1922 Tory backbench committee, said the election race kicked off “this week”.

PAPrime Minister Rishi Sunak told the same event: “We’re going to highlight just how disconnected Keir Starmer is from common sense Britain.”[/caption]
“The gloves have come off and it’s started,” he told a ConservativeHome reception in Manchester.
Sir Graham, who is standing down at the next election, also hinted the Prime Minister may trigger an early Spring election.
“This may be the last time that I have the privilege of introducing a prime minister at this event at the party conference,” he added.
Meanwhile, Mr Sunak vowed to smash Sir Keir during a comedy roasting in front cheering party members.
He said the Labour leader attempted to copy his five priorities, claiming he would: “Fuel inflation, grow the unions, reduce policy, cut British energy and of course, stop the Rayner.”
The PM berated “disconnected” Keir Starmer who is “so out of touch that he thinks the Angel of the North is a tube station in Islington”.
And he rallied the Tory troops telling them: “So let’s get out there, let’s work together and let’s go smash that general election.”
