TOTTENHAM have beat Barcelona in the race to sign Swedish wonderkid Lucas Bergvall, according to reports.
The 17-year-old was said to be on the verge of joining Xavi’s side from Djurgarden.

However, The Athletic claim he changed his mind after speaking to Spurs’ Danish technical director Johan Lange.
Tottenham now have an agreement in place with Djurgarden worth £8.5million plus add-ons.
Bergvall will travel to London on Friday – his 18th birthday – for a medical.
He is also set to pen a five-year deal with the Lilywhites.
But the midfielder will spend the rest of the season with Djurgarden before joining up with Ange Postecoglou’s side in the summer.
