COPS have found a body while searching for a missing 50-year-old woman who vanished over a week ago.
Fay Barney was last spotted after leaving her home address in the Totteridge area of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, last Friday.

Now, cops have sadly confirmed that they discovered a body in the Lucas Wood area of the town today.
The body has not yet been formally identified but it is believed to be Fay, said police.
Thames Valley Police said that her family have been informed and they are being supported at this “extremely upsetting time”.
A spokesperson said: “We are extremely saddened to confirm that officers searching for a missing woman from High Wycombe have very sadly located a body in the Lucas Wood area of the town.
“Colleagues from Buckinghamshire Lowland Search & Rescue, working alongside our officers, sadly located the woman’s body this afternoon following extensive searches.
“Although the person has not yet been formally identified, we believe this to be Fay, aged 50, who was reported missing last Friday.”
The death is currently being treated as unexplained, but not suspicious.
Cops confirmed that a file will be prepared for the Buckinghamshire Coroner.
Fay was last seen in the Totteridge Lane area of High Wycombe, on the morning of September 12.
She was spotted on CCTV walking down the road at 10.41am the same day.
Approximately six minutes later, she was pictured walking up Lucas Road – where the body was found.
Inspector Hayley McEvoy, based at High Wycombe police station, previously said the force was “extremely concerned” for her welfare, adding that officers have been “working hard to find her”.
During the frantic search, Fay was described by cops as white, 5’6″ in height, and of a slim build.
