A MUM-of-five has tragically died after she was hit by a car in a horrific late-night crash outside a pub.

Sue Davis, 50, was killed after she was driven into while outside the Flying Pig pub in Halifax, West Yorkshire, shortly after 1am on Tuesday.

The “great and vibrant” mum was hit by a burgundy Mazda 5 which failed to stop at the scene after the horrific collision.

Sue’s family have now released an emotional tribute to the mum-of-five, following her death.

They wrote: “Sue was a great, vibrant character.

“There was never a dull moment with her.

“She was a mother of five and was well known within her community.

“She will be sadly missed.”

Two teenage boys, aged 15 and 18, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

They have both now been bailed, pending further enquiries.

In a statement issued on Thursday, a spokesperson for the team said: “Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward, or anyone who saw the movements of the vehicle immediately prior to it.”
