A MAN has tragically died in front of horrified shoppers at a popular UK shopping centre.
Cops and emergency services scrambled to the scene outside Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre in Gillingham, Kent, at around 10am yesterday.
Ambulances and police cars at the scene
Pictures from the scene showed at least two ambulances and two police cars in the car park.
An ambulance spokesperson confirmed they were called shortly after 10am to reports of a person in need of medical attention.
They added: “Crews attended, however sadly one person died at the scene.”
Both the police and fire service were also sent to the scene to assist paramedics.
Since opening in 1978, Hempstead Valley has been a staple of the local area.
Over the years, there has been significant developments at the shopping centre.
