TRAVIS KELCE may have missed out on a fourth Super Bowl ring, but he’s now the owner of a coveted NFL record.
Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs suffered a blowout loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans last Sunday.

The tight end cut a dejected figure after the final play at the Ceasars Superdome.
But he can take a small amount of comfort in the fact he’s now the holder of a Super Bowl record.
Kelce, 35, is now the owner of the record for the MOST catches in Super Bowl history.
His four catches on six targets saw him break Jerry Rice’s record of 33 catches in the biggest game on the American football calendar.
Defeat to the Eagles saw the Chiefs miss out on the opportunity to become the first team to win three Super Bowls on the spin.
A crestfallen Kelce said: “[We] couldn’t get it going offensively.
“I mean they just got after us on all three phases and then on top of that, you know, turnovers, penalties, playing behind the sticks on offense.
“We haven’t played that bad all year, you don’t lose like that without everything going bad.”

It was widely speculated that Kelce could hang up his cleats after the game.
Although Chiefs star QB Patrick Mahomes believes this team-mate still has plenty left in the tank.
When asked about the prospect of Kelce retiring, he said: “I’ll let Travis make that decision [about retirement] on his own.
“He’s given so much to this team and to the NFL and been such a joy, not only for me to work with but for people to watch.
“He knows he still has a lot of football left in him. You can see it.
“He always makes plays in the biggest moments.
“But it’s if he wants to put in that grind ’cause it’s a grind to go out there and play 20 games, whatever it is, and get to the Super Bowl.”
