The crash took place on Sunday morning in the port city of Agadir.

Emergency services arrived at the scene to provide first aid, as the casualties were rushed to a nearby hospital.

Those injured were “quickly transported” to the Hassan II Regional Hospital, local outlet Ambassador 24 reports.

The bodies of the deceased were taken to the hospital’s morgue, the Moroccan Telegraph reports

The casualties have not been named.

Security services have now launched a full investigation to determine what caused the car to overturn onto its roof.

The Sun has contacted the Foreign Office for comment.

It comes as a Brit mum-of-four was fatally stabbed outside her home in the French village of Trémolat, east of Bordeaux.

Karen Carter, 69, died from severe blood loss after being stabbed multiple times on Tuesday.

Karen’s body was discovered by her friend Jean-Francois Guerrier – who she is believed to have been in a relationship with.

The pair had spent the evening at a wine tasting at a popular café-bar in the village with pals, around 10 minutes drive from Karen’s home.

Upon returning Karen was reportedly stabbed through the heart as she retrieved her dog – a white Griffon puppy – from her car.

Jean-Francois had only left her for “10 minutes” before she was savagely killed, according to Begerac prosecutor Sylvie Martin-Guedes.
