TWO people have been charged over the Hogmanay shooting of gangster Marc Webley.
The slain hood, 38, was reportedly shot to death while leaving a New Year party at his local pub on West Granton Road in the capital while a second man, 39, was also allegedly wounded.
Detectives probing the alleged killing have confirmed a 32-year-old man and 25-year-old woman have been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged incident.
Both are due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, 8 January, 2024.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
