TWO teenagers have been killed and three are fighting for their lives after a head-on crash in the early hours today.

A grey Volkswagen Golf collided with a Vauxhall Grandland travelling in the opposite direction.
Two passengers in the Golf, a 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man tragically died from their injuries.
Cops said two other passengers, a 16-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy suffered “life-threatening injuries” and were taken to hospital.
The driver escaped the smash with minor injuries.
The woman, 34, who was driving the Grandland suffered a serious injury to her arm and two other passengers sustained minor injuries.
The horror smash also left a 62-year-old man in the other vehicle with life-threatening injuries.
Victims in the horror crash have not yet been identified but cops said their families have been informed and are being “supported by specialist trained officers”.
A spokesperson has also appealed to anyone in the area at the time and anyone who witnessed the crash, or has dashcam footage, to contact them.
The force said in a statement: “We would appeal for anyone who may have been in the area around the time of the collision, who has dashcam footage or witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken to us, to contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 60 of 1 January.”
