ASTON VILLA duo Tyrone Mings and John McGinn have both released statements, causing concern after Jacob Ramsey’s exit.
The midfielder left Villa Park in a £39million transfer to Newcastle United.

Ramsey, 24, came through the youth ranks at Villa and has gone on to make 176 appearances for the club since his debut in 2019.
He was highly rated at the club but was sold to boost the club’s standings in line with PSR.
The transfer sparked public statements from leaders within the Villa squad Mings and captain McGinn.
The defender has insisted that much of the reason behind the transfer has remained private.
He has also urged fans not to harbour any bad feelings towards their former player.
Mings wrote: “Don’t wanna hear any bad words or anything negative on his name.
“You don’t know the half (of it).”
McGinn penned a kind note to Ramsey, but did add in a dig at the effects of PSR on clubs being forced to sell academy players.

He added: “Always humble, respectful and willing to learn.
“It’s been a privilege to share the dressing room with you and enjoy some special moments together on the pitch.
“A sad day losing a top player and person and one of our own but it seems to be the way football is set up these days.”
The pair’s statements have sparked concern among football fans who reacted on social media.
One posted: “McGinn and Mings very choiceful with their words.
“We all know how much of an impact PSR and UEFA rules are having on us, but I think there’s a lot that we can read between the lines.
Ramsey’s Newcastle comments
Here is what Jacob Ramsey saod following his move to Newcastle United…
He said: “I’m delighted to be here. It’s been a mad two or three days, but I’m really happy to be here and I can’t wait to get started.
“This is a big move for me, but as soon as I knew the gaffer was interested and really liked me, it didn’t take much time to decide.
“His track record of developing players, especially those who have gone on to become internationals here, speaks for itself.
“It was always a tough game playing for Villa against Newcastle – the team is full of energy, so athletic and the fans are so passionate.
“I feel my game will suit that and I’m excited to be on the other end of it now.”
“Concerning, imo, as we don’t know the extent of the impact it’s having BTS.”
A second wrote: “Find the Tyrone Mings post really concerning. His words are strong, blatant and out there. Something is amiss, the club have had enough.”
A third commented: “I honestly didn’t expect this. It seems like a lot of the senior players have reached a breaking point with spending rules.”
A fourth said: “Players definitely don’t seem happy.”
Villa started their Premier League campaign with a goalless draw against Ramsey’s new team the Magpies.
Unai Emery’s side had to survive to save a point after Ezri Konsa was sent off in the second half.
However, their former player did not feature as his move was done after the deadline to be eligible on the weekend.
